years of experience that employs elite debate mentors to teach the skills of communication and leadership in schools and businesses across the world. On this course, your child will be mentored by two mentors, such as Sarah and Gina. Both have 5+ years of experience mentoring with Debate Mate, having run debating clubs virtually and in schools across the UK and beyond.Our Fundamentals of Debating course teaches students the core skills of debating - argumentation, persuasion and rhetoric.
Our highly-interactive sessions are structured around group activities and games led by our expert university mentors. Throughout the course, students will learn how to debate sophisticated motions spanning sports, politics and morality, and will leave with improved confidence, teamwork and critical thinking.

What to expect:
- This class will take place online via a Zoom webinar.
- For live classes, please arrive promptly. Students' cameras and microphones are disabled by default.
- For on demand classes, students will be watching a recording of a previous live class.
- Once you have signed up, you will be taken to your dashboard where you can view details of the class, and re-watch it in the future.
- Students will be sent confirmation of the class to their email address if provided.
