‘No-one in their right mind would run a marathon!’...do you know how you would write for and against this argument? In this class, students will get an overview of how to structure opinion writing using the opinion of a marathon runner to address the issue of running a marathon as a charity hero. Students will learn how to present a stance, different ways to get their opinion across and how to structure their writing so that is flows freely and does not contradict itself!
This class is aimed at students in Years 7 and 8 but being able to form opinions and support them is a skill that can be used across many subjects as well as in life so this class is beneficial to all students!
