Briony ClarkeHost: Briony is a District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts). She sits at Westminster Magistrates Court hearing both Criminal cases and Extradition. 'I have been a Judge now for 5 years, initially as a part time judge, known as a Deputy District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) and then in 2020 became a full time Judge.'

In this class, Briony will talk through a day in the life of a Judge and the journey they took in their career to get there. 

Briony will also discuss skills they utilise every day in the job covering some of the highs and lows.


This is a great class for anyone interested in learning more about the process of becoming a job and for those who want to hear first hand what it is like to be a Judge in the UK.
