Host: Robert Walker is a sign writer and studied a Masters Degree in International Graphic Design Practice becoming a University Lecturer before leaving a career in teaching.
Robert is currently working in the field of water gilding and brilliant cutting, two endangered crafts. In this class, Robert will talk about his unconventional path through education and his route into the world of sign writing before moving onto lettering techniques by hand and his day to day running of his studio.
This class is part of the Creative Craft Careers series with Heritage Crafts - a great series of classes for students who have an interest in crafts and want to explore more of the many career opportunities available.
