Similar shapes are shapes that have been enlarged by a scale factor. E.g. the same shape has been made either bigger or smaller. Both 2-D and 3-D shapes can be enlarged however the enlargement will involve increasing or decreasing either the length, area or volume of that shape by a given scale factor.

In this class, students will learn how to find the length, area or volume of similar shapes. 

This is a great class for those learning the topic for the first time or to use as revision!
