Host: Fran has been tutoring students for many years. After completing her secondary PGCE in Manchester, she worked in Secondary schools in the North of England for 12 years. Her current role is delivering intervention tuition to students to improve their grades at GCSE in core subjects and help them achieve their personal educational goals.Ratios are everywhere in life! From comparing price per kg to calculating the correct amounts for a recipe to figuring out how long a trip will take. During this class, students will use bar models to develop an understanding of sharing with ratios. They will leave the lesson with a good understanding of ratios and how to apply this knowledge. This class is aimed at all students but will be especially helpful for those in Years 7 - 9 to build a good Maths foundation.

This class is suitable for all ages, especially for students in Years 7, 8 and 9, or S1, S2 and S3.
Class requirements:
Students will require a laptop with internet connection to view the class. A pen and notepad will also be required during the lesson.
