Shonagh McLennanHost: Shonagh lives and teaches in Inverness but comes from Caithness originally. Gaelic isn’t spoken commonly there and as such, Shonagh learnt Gaelic as an older teenager and later at university in Glasgow and Aberdeen. This helps her to understand just how tricky language learning can be!

An early step in language learning is understanding how to greet someone. In this class, students will learn some basic Gaelic greetings and be introduced to new vocabulary. Students will also receive pronunciation tips and spelling tips so they can practice speaking and writing on their own! This class is aimed at students of all ages and is great for any student interested in learning Scottish Gaelic!
