Kitan CoxHost: As an experienced secondary English teacher, I have taught GCSE and A-Level English (Language and Literature), Media Studies, Extended Project Qualification, Critical Thinking and Drama in a wide range of educational settings in London and Surrey (outstanding secondary schools, academies and a further education college). I am also been involved in motivating students through extracurricular activities inside and outside of school. Additionally, I have a certificate in Life Coaching.

In this series on Narrative Writing classes your tutor, Kitan Cox, will start from a notional Grade 4 level and work all the way up to a notional Grade 9 level. You can pick and choose the Grade classes to best suit your ability, although we recommend starting from Class 1 (Grade 4 Level) to build a strong foundation and work your way up to whichever class best pushes your story writing capability and further develops your ability to reach those all important grades.

You will begin the series in Class 1 by mastering writing at a Grade 4 level, to firmly cement your story writing skills that are needed in your GCSE (or equivalent) exams.  In this class you will identify what skills examiners are looking out for when they mark your writing for you to reach Grade 4.

In this assignment you will 'Write a story involving a journey.'
