Did you know that prime factorisation is very important to people who try to make (or break) secret codes based on numbers? It's because factoring very large numbers is very hard, and can take computers a long time to do. In this class, students will be guided through what factors, multiples, and prime numbers are as well as how to express a number as a product of its prime factors. Students will also get the get the opportunity to use a Venn diagram to find the HCF and LCM of two numbers. This class is aimed at students in Years 8 - 11 and is a great revision tool!
