Host: Shahriyar is a Maths Teacher at a School in Northwest London, teaching years 7 to 11. He graduated from the University of Warwick in 2013 and set off to China for two years teaching IGCSE and A-Level Economics. In mathematics, the difference of two squares is a squared number subtracted from another squared number. In this lesson, students will gain a better understanding of what a perfect square is and how to recognise when to apply the difference of two squares in a question. Students will also get the opportunity to factorise expressions using the difference of two squares. This class is aimed at students in Years 9 - 11 and is a great tool for students aiming for a grade 6 and above.
