In this class, students will examine the impact of the Norman Conquest on the way villages were organised, drawing out continuities and changes with the previous Anglo-Saxon period. Students will also discuss the features of Norman villages, as well as gaining an understanding of the social roles of the village.
This is a great class for anyone currently covering the topic but also for students who have an interest in the subject or want to get ahead with a firm background understanding allowing them to excel in exams and teacher assessments.
