This class covers all the basics of Crude Oil & Alkanes: definitions, examples and structures. Followed by practice exam questions to consolidate knowledge.
In this class, students will define crude oil and name the first 5 alkanes. Students will be able to describe the structure of alkanes and be able to calculate the molecular formula of any alkane using its general formulae. Once we have gone through the theory they will get the opportunity to work through some exam style GCSE questions with the aim of mastering exactly how to answer the different style of questions and to make sure they get all available marks.
Applying knowledge students have just learned to past questions allows them to make sure they have a good understanding of the topic and feel confident and ready for any exam or teacher assessments.
