In this class students will firstly learn how to use Pythagoras’ Theorem to calculate unknown figures in right-angled triangles. They will then go on to learn how to apply this knowledge to real life situations, for example, calculating distances to travel.
This is a great class for students who already have a basic understanding of Pythagoras’ Theorem but also for those who are covering it for the first time. This is a very common topic that comes up across many parts of the Maths syllabus so a solid understanding at this stage will make it easier for students to progress, building on this understanding, further down the line.
Safeguarding reminder:The safety of your child is of the utmost importance. All of our classes are pre-recorded to remove any concerns around live participation. For reruns of our past live classes, students' webcams and microphones were disabled and only the chat history, if participation was requested, is visible.
This class is suitable for all students learning Pythagoras Theory at school and want a second chance to revise the topic.
