Tas ParveenHost: Tas is a Qualified Secondary Teacher specialising in Maths with a background of Accounting and Finance. She has worked in several schools over a period of 5 years - including as a numeracy co-ordinator, working with pupils aged 11-16 with gifted and talented, SEN and EAL pupils. Tas has also worked as a private Tutor with GCSE and KS3 pupils helping them to increase their grades as much as 3 steps over a space of 2 years.

Understanding fractions and applying lessons on fractions to solve questions can be a challenging subject.

In this class, students will be taken through the conversion of mixed and improper fractions. Tas will explain the difference between mixed and improper fractions as well as why we need to be able to convert between the two.

This is a great class to cement learning of the topic or as an introduction to the subject if students have not yet covered the subject matter - a great way to get up to speed and get ahead!
