'The Pearl' by John Steinbeck is a novella that was first published in 1947. In this class, students will get an overview of how to analyse the language and structure in an extract from this novella. Students will be shown how to write about and analyse the effects of the language features as well as how to analyse the effects of structure features. This session is great for students in Years 10/11 as it will help you to secure a GCSE grade 5 in English Language for your centre-assessed grades / teacher-assessed grades (CAG / TAG).
