Critical reading is an important tool for understanding a text! In this class students will get an overview of how to evaluate the writer’s choices based on a specific extract from ‘The War of the Worlds’. Students will be shown how to write evaluatively about language features as well as structural techniques in a specific text. This is great for students in Years 10//1 who want to score least Grade 5 in GCSE English Language for your teacher-assessed grades (TAGs).
