Robin Sedman-SmithHost: I currently teach French in a school in Shropshire and am learning Spanish. I lived in Germany for two years, and spent 13 years teaching German in a grammar school where I still work as a boarding tutor.

In this lesson, students will learn about the differences between life in West and East Germany during the Cold War. Students will learn how to talk about these differences in German and will also learn or revise useful phrases and vocabulary for a variety of GCSE topics.

This is a fantastic class for German students to quickly ramp up their vocabulary with a focus on common and useful phrases to develop and strengthen their written and spoken German.
