Robin Sedman-SmithHost: I currently teach French in a school in Shropshire and am learning Spanish. I lived in Germany for two years, and spent 13 years teaching German in a grammar school where I still work as a boarding tutor.

Modal verbs are verbs that indicate likelihood, ability, permission or obligation. In this lesson, students will be introduced to the modal verbs and learn how important they are in every day French. Students will get the opportunity to form some sentences using a sentence builder before practising using the verb "devoir" in useful sentences. "Devoir" is used to say what you have to do or must do, and is used in a range of situations and topics.

This class is great for students in Years 7 - 9 to help them excel and progress their language skills to the next level.
