Host: As an experienced secondary English teacher, I have taught GCSE and A-Level English (Language and Literature), Media Studies, Extended Project Qualification, Critical Thinking and Drama in a wide range of educational settings in London and Surrey (outstanding secondary schools, academies and a further education college). Piggy is Ralph's lieutenant in Lord of the Flies and represents the scientific side of civilization. In this class, students will be guided through quotations that reveal Piggy's character before linking the quotations to key themes. Students will also gain a better understanding of subject terminology and be able to use it. This class is aimed at students in Years 10 and 11 and is perfect to give students confidence in their understanding of the novel!
