Alice SolomonsHost: Alice read History at Lancaster University and is now Director of History. She has been teaching History for the past 6 years. She also is a Specialist Leader of Education in History and an AQA examiner. Alice's aim is simply to inspire her students to love History as much as she does!

Do you know what was expected of women in the 19th century? In this class, students will gain a better understanding of what life was like for women in the 19th century including the legal status and if all women wanted change. Students will also cover what 'The Spheres' were. This class is aimed at students in Years 8 and 9 but is great for any student interested in the history of women!
