Do you know how women contributed to the World War I effort? After this class, you will! This lesson will give students a better understanding of why the Suffragette movement ended as well as how women contributed to World War I. Students will also examine why the Suffragettes downed their weapons and why they got the vote in 1918. This class is aimed at students in Years 8 and 9 but is great for anyone interested in women's history!
