This 4 part mini-series is suitable for students who would like an introduction to Python coding. You will need to have an installation of Python which you can download here for free https://www.python.org/ to start the class.
Students will work towards building their own text-based 'Choose Your Own' Adventure game! You will learn about the important concepts of coding in an enjoyable, friendly environment at a relaxed pace.
Class 3: In this text adventure game class we'll be learning about how we fight opponents using a simple battle mechanic. Winners get rewarded with coins but for the losers, it's game over.

All budding coders are welcome, especially those aged 11-16 who are particularly interested in furthering their skills in Gaming and Design. This class is perfect for those who love the concept of coding and want a chance to put their passion into practise!
Class requirements:
You will need a laptop or device with internet connection to watch the class, as well as a pen and notepad for taking notes.
What to expect:
- This class will take place online via a Zoom webinar.
- For live classes, please arrive promptly. Students' cameras and microphones are disabled by default.
- For on demand classes, students will be watching a recording of a previous live class.
- Once you have signed up, you will be taken to your dashboard where you can view details of the class, and re-watch it in the future.
- Students will be sent confirmation of the class to their email address if provided.
