Geology is the study of our Earth and the processes that happen within it and on it. In this introductory class, students will gain a better understanding of what geology encompasses as well as an overview of sedimentary, metamorphic and igneous rocks. Students will also learn the formation mechanisms of the three main rock types. This class is aimed at any student who has an interest in geology!
