Have you heard of the movie Jurassic Park? How about the geological Jurassic period? To learn more about the latter, tune into this class! In this class, students will take a trip through geological time, from the formation of the Earth until the present day. Students will examine the main events of each geological era and period and how the history of the Earth is divided. Students will also examine how the age of rocks are investigated using techniques such as radioactive dating and index fossils.

This class is suitable for Years 7 - 11 and perfect for those who want to broaden their scientific knowledge or want to learn more about geological time periods!
