Prime factor decomposition is when you write a number as a product of prime factors. In this class, students will gain a better understanding of the prime factor decomposition of any number and how to write it in index notation. Students will also learn how to use prime factor decomposition to calculate HCF and LCM of two numbers. This class is aimed at students in Years 7 - 9 but can be a tricky topic so can be used a revision by any student!
