Narrative writing is an important skill that is needed for students at every stage. In this class, students will get an overview of how to structure narrative writing, based on a specific narrative writing assignment. ‘Write a story that involves a detective.’ They will be shown how use effective characterisation as well as adopting the narrative arc in order to structure a story that is intriguing and enjoyable for readers.
