Emily JonesHost: Emily Jones is a Trainee Forensic Psychologist working for Her Majesty’s Prison and Probation Services. Emily graduated from the University of Exeter with a BSc in Psychology and went onto to do a MSc in Forensic Psychology at the University of Portsmouth. Emily has done various volunteer and psychology related roles before securing a job as a Trainee Forensic Psychologist in the Prison service, where she is now Chartering to become a Forensic Psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS). Emily is also the In-Training representative for the Division of Forensic Psychology Executive Committee for the BPS.

In this career focused session Emily will talk students through the path she took from the very beginning to where she is now as a Trainee Forensic Psychologist. Emily will discuss both the highlights and the difficult moments she's experienced as well as the lessons learnt along the way. Students will learn what a typical day is like, with a focus on the challenges and benefits of being a Trainee Forensic Psychologist.
