Host: I currently teach French in a school in Shropshire and am learning Spanish. I lived in Germany for two years, and spent 13 years teaching German in a grammar school where I still work as a boarding tutor.
Discussing and describing a photocard is a key component in KS4 language assessments and a useful skill to have. Throughout this mini-series, students will be guided through skills needed to excel in the photocard assignment. In this lesson, students will be shown examples of what you can say about a picture of different free time activities and the type of questions you might be asked in a German speaking assessment.

Class requirements:
You will need a laptop or device with internet connection to watch the class, as well as a pen and notepad for taking notes.
What to expect:
- This class will take place online via a Zoom webinar.
- For live classes, please arrive promptly. Students' cameras and microphones are disabled by default.
- For on demand classes, students will be watching a recording of a previous live class.
- Once you have signed up, you will be taken to your dashboard where you can view details of the class, and re-watch it in the future.
