What better way to gain a better understanding of history and poems than to analyse a poem about what a soldier who stops to think mid-charge. In this class students will examine the poem, 'Bayonet Charge', from AQA’s ‘Power and Conflict’ Poetry Anthology to further their knowledge on poetic structure and form and strengthen their ability to identify themes, context, imagery, and ideas. This class will benefit students who are preparing for their English GCSE or who want to feel more confident in their English studies.
