There are multiple tips and tricks for determining what a new word means when you first encounter it. This class will focus on understanding new vocabulary in context so that students feel confident when approaching unfamiliar texts for the first time. Students will be guided through three questions which can help them with understanding new vocabulary and will get a chance to practice their new skills at the end of the lesson. This class is perfect for students in Years 7 - 9 or anyone who needs a refresher!
