There are many benefits to learning Yoga - for fitness, for relaxation or to focus your thoughts to help improve other aspects of your life.
This is part of a mini-series of Yoga classes from Bex, at AuNatch, which provides students with a fantastic introduction to yoga. You don't need to have attended all other classes for this one to be valuable though!
This class will allow students to get a taste for the practice and learn how they can focus their breathing and body movement techniques to practise at home. Students will then apply these lessons through the foundations of vinyasa/ashtanga yoga including sun salutations, downward facing dog, warrior poses and vinyasas (e.g. knees chest chin).
If you enjoyed this class why not try more in our Yoga mini-series by Bex:
Safeguarding reminder: We know that the safety of your child is of the utmost importance. This is why we use Zoom's Webinar feature to provide our live classes, where by default, your child's webcam and microphone are disabled.
This class is suitable for all ages, especially for yearning yogi's who are 15+ and keen to explore movement in the yogic realm!
You will need a laptop or device with internet connection to watch the class.
Students will need a clear space (about 70 inches long and 25 inches wide) and ideally a yoga/exercise mat.
